A bomb site. Silence, solitude with nature. The chefs cook very tasty and brightly. The lake is amazing, they gave out glanders, organized fishing on a boat ... a thrill!!!

My husband and I were in Valdai for the first time and stayed at the Valdai Resort hotel. A beautiful hotel on the shores of Lake Velje, with separate houses that stand far from each other, surrounded by trees, and this creates the feeling that you are the only one. We really liked the interior of the house because it fits the place very well. Lots of light and air, floor-to-ceiling windows, a large veranda where you can enjoy nature and birdsong. A comfortable bed, and this is very important here, because you often want to sleep, it's very fresh air that lulls you to sleep)))) and the interior uses a lot of natural materials and decor that are interesting to look at. There is a fireplace, which creates a special cozy atmosphere in the evening. You wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing, and in the evening you fall asleep to the crackle of a campfire. What else I would like to note is that there are various water activities on the territory of the hotel, we went skiing, there is an incredible art bathhouse, I saw this form of the bathhouse itself for the first time and opposite the hotel there is a Valdai hiking trail, 5-7 days long, we did not walk for long, but we had great pleasure. A separate item is nutrition. The food is delicious, refined, using local products. The team comes up with something special every time and surprises with a variety of dishes and an unusual combination. It's nice when every person in the hotel cares only about one thing, so that you have a good rest! And that's exactly what happened at the Valdai Resort! We enjoyed exploring this place immensely and will definitely come back.
